Today, we launched the new website for Michelle Breiter Photography – a wedding, engagement, and lifestyle photographer in Bend, OR. We are so proud to present this site because it brought a lot of joy and a little challenge to all of us. 🎉
Here is a little breakdown of the most important site features:
The design needed to be confident, warm, and powerful. Both Michelle and I wanted something that felt multi-dimensional, without verging on tacky. We really wanted to highlight the diversity in her work, while still capturing her signature style. Payge’s favorite part, though? The olive-green mobile menu.
Kat Guerrero wrote copy for Michelle that felt both extremely personal and on-brand, but also wasn’t as cookie-cutter as the normal photography website. Michelle’s voice is so unique and that needed to be captured.
While working masonries are no biggie when a WordPress plugin does it for all you, building our own responsive, dynamically-populating, custom masonry with a lightbox is a fun little challenge. Without much sweat at all, Matt Cain connected the masonry backend to the frontend that Roger Yee had developed, and voila. These beautiful portfolio items were born.
We are SO excited to be sharing with you one of our favorite sites to-date. Enjoy and let us know your thoughts!
